Kathryn Dyer started this petition to UNIVERSITIES

Due to the coronavirus outbreak it has become increasingly difficult for university students to study for the examinations taking place in May. There are many reasons for this for example, being in isolation with lots of people or caring for a loved one suffering with symptoms of the coronavirus or even poor internet connection. All these factors are making it currently impossible for students to give their best. Thus, making it unfair to expect them to participate in the up and coming exams. These students have invested three or four years of their lives paying for an education that they expect to be fair but to force them to take the exams in May will in no way be fair to any of them. These are unprecedented times and therefore, universities need to take decisive action ensuring fairness for all UK university students. Thus, the awarding of grades based on all previous assessments and examinations, appears to be the most sensible course of action for all concerned.
