I think it's very pertinent and extremely important for all medical professionals to be fully educated on signs, symptoms and treatment of mental illness! So many people are misdiagnosed due to poor educational practices or just a complete lack of education regarding the facets of mental illnesses and how they present! I feel as though there must be a better system put in place for this subject in particular, as there are so many policies regarding homicidal/suicidal and overdose patients but really nothing else for those with CPTSD (childhood post traumatic stress disorder), PTSD, anxiety, depression, DID (dissociative identity disorder), and many others. I have met several people throughout YouTube who have told their stories about misdiagnosis and maltreatment within the healthcare system worldwide and I do believe it needs to stop. Bipolar disorder is not the same as DID, nor is it similar to autism. There needs to be a better way,  starting with an in depth education regarding all types of mental illness and the best possible treatment for the suffering individuals.
