We are young aspiring mathematicians who are endeavoring to improve the pronunciation of one of the most ambiguous words in the history of maths. HYPERBOLA - hai·pur·buh·luh

This pronunciation is undoubtedly incorrect, as it does not phonetically make any sense. Nonetheless, there are many English words which are like this so why this one?

Well, many young students may be discouraged by this pronunciation and very perplexed, leading them to not consider math as a valid pathway.

The new pronunciation should be: hai-pur-boh-la or simply hyper - bola
