Cottage kitchen laws allow residents in rural and urban communities sell confections in local markets. This emboldens low income families to start their own businesses from their home without a significant infrastructure investment.

Unfortunately, not all state cottage kitchen laws are created equally as some states severely restrict what one can do and others recognize the freedom of commerce to start a small business venture in one’s home. 

These are people that I have spent many hours speaking with. Some like myself; are permanently disabled or are caring for a disabled loved one. I have worked with so many people that just need the opportunity to go forth and conquer with a uniform cottage kitchen law for the cooking and processing of candy in one’s home business.
