As a campus that supports diversity and inclusion The University of New Orleans, it's faculty, staff, and students should not be funding a company that supports anti-equality measures.
Removing this restaurant from the The Cove will send a strong message that the University of
New Orleans stands up for the rights of all their students, faculty, and staff.
I am proud to be a graduate of the University of New Orleans especially for their work throughout the community regardless of race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation and I feel that continuing to have this restaurant on campus even in the limited capacity that it already is undermines the very vaules of the university. Gay rights are human rights and the university should not support a group that is openly against human rights, especially with tuition money which comes from the the federal and state government that most of us students receive in order to attend UNO.
