During the State of the Union Address I watched a man who has been repeatedly condemned for making racist and mysoginistic remarks get awarded the Medal of Freedom by the person who is sitting in the highest seat of office of our great nation's government. Cancer or not, we absolutley can not sit idly by as the people who his words have so negatively affected were given the message that his hateful divisive views and words against people of color and women are not only OK but can be awarded the highest honor that can be bestowed upon someone by the President of the United States. That was the message that was made that night. It was a vile disgusting display and a dark day for our nation as far as I am concerned. If you agree with Mr. Limbaugh receiving this award you simply do not see the problem, actively choose not to, or are in fact racist yourself. This makes you part of the problem and disparages all of us who actually comprehend why this is so wrong on so many levels, a great deal. That medal should be revoked.
