To whom it may concern in the United States Congress/Court system:

Recently, President Donald J Trump signed Proc. 10052: Proclamation Suspending Entry of Aliens Who Present a Risk to the U.S. Labor Market Following the Coronavirus Outbreak, and I urge Congress to take the appropriate action against this Proclamation to help Visa Workers who have been separated from their families as a result of the EO.

I recognize the point of view to protect the American economy and American Jobs. However, I believe this EO actually goes further to directly harm many American citizens.

For example, as a result of this EO, my 16 year old brother who is an American Citizen may not see his father till 2021 (optimistically speaking). In fact, it is a very realistic probability that if our father loses status then my mother becomes undocumented in the US and will have to leave us as well.

It is clear that this EO was a direct attack on immigrant communities to "legally" separate families. Proc. 10052 has not just affected my family, it has also affected countless others whose loved ones cannot meet their Citizen spouses, parents, siblings. Additionally, many Visa workers are unable to travel to take care of their sick parents in this dire time.

It is heartbreaking to see such an EO be passed during a global pandemic and to see a blind eye be turned against to the families and American citizens it is hurting.

Again, while I am aware of the hypothetical rationale behind such an EO, I urge congress to reevaluate and figure out measures to allow for Visa processing in cases where family re-union is crucial.
