The Republican party decides whether the Fire of Hell shall burn

Bill Orton
Long Beach, CA

Aug 28, 2017 — Everyone's got their own view, and it's a free country, but America is at the edge of a volcano, and Mr. Lincoln's party can choose whether our people fall into The Fire.

-- The Ku Klux Klan marches in the streets.

-- The President doesn't talk about Republicans, except to bash more aggressively as hatred grows.

-- Leadership of both chambers in Congress are slapping the President.

-- The Republican governor of a major state says the President plays "wedge" politics.

Violence is erupting, like the burning rocks hurled from a volcano.

Hatred -- and not politics itself -- is framing our future.

Because the President doesn't talk politics, neither then shall I, because this humble messenger suggests viewing our political disintegration as falling into the Fire of Hell itself.

Perhaps it is unfair to say that our nation, and our people, are being scorched by The Fire.

It is not a traditional political message, but it's because the President deepens division as a tool for his own personal needs.

Violence and hatred and fear make it unlikely that the opposition can beat him, because fury is ripping apart Franklin Roosevelt's party.

If Mr. Lincoln's Grand Old Party caves in, to push the President forward to reelection, then it will not be the hurling of burning rocks that takes our nation apart. It is the eruption of falling fire that shall burn without discretion.

The only winner if the President stays in power is his own selfishness and arrogance.

If the leadership of Mr. Lincoln's Grand Old Party does not directly take on the President, then the rank-and-file should splinter away from 45, and use their numbers to press the other side for a bipartisan ouster.

Isolate the President, or surrender Mr. Lincoln's soul.

Andrew Johnson got impeached for something minor, about how laws are signed. Bill Clinton got popped for sex.

Is the Republican party enslaved by a President that used hatred more deeply than we've seen in 150 years?

If the GOP won't take on the President, then they should be swept out of office themselves.

Let Mr. Lincoln smile in his grave.

Oust the bastion of hatred, so that the GOP could rescue America from the rise of Hell's Fire.
