Polyamory should not be illegal so long as all parties agree. An easy solution to prevent marriages that may not be consensual by all participating parties (which is NOT polyamory.) would be to make sure that all parties sign the certificate. In a V-style, Mono-Poly, Kitchen table or parallel relationship (these relationships are where the people involved are not all together, but one or more of the people participating have more than one partner) their partners would have to sign off saying they consent to the other people marrying someone else. In a relationship where all the people are together (example a triad or a quad... etcetera...) if they all wanted to marry each other, then they'd all sign a certificate together that confirms their relationship. Polyamory is not cheating. It is important to remember, cheating is crossing boundaries that your partner(s) have set. Every relationship has boundaries. You can cheat in a polyamorous relationship, just like you could in a monogamous relationship. Polyamory is not a solution to cheating, nor is it the same thing as cheating. Communication is an important part in all relationships. Especially in a polyamorous relationship. All relationships require consent and communication. POLYGAMY SHOULD BE LEGAL!!!
