Foster Ukah started this petition to United States Supreme Court and

I'm absolutely tired of seeing African American men and women killed by police officers and I'm here to make a change. The cops that do this have no consequences for killing, which is why they choose to do so. My suggestion is if a police officer shoot to kill an unarmed black person they should be convicted of murder and spend life in prison. Furthermore, if they use excessive force by choking, bodyslamming, or punching someone of color they should lose their job and pay a substantial amount of money to the victim. Bodycams should always be worn by officers to protect themselves and to provide evidence of their innocence if matters get out of hand. I truly believe that law enforcement officers commit these acts of violence because there's no repercussions for their actions. America has gotten out of hand with the police misusing their authority and until things change, senseless acts of violence will continue. Officers are not above the law!
