Tear gas is illegal to use in war but it is currently being used on the streets of our United States. Chemical warfare has been made illegal by many different treaties that the United States have agreed to. If the US won’t use it on people we are at war with, how does it make sense to use it on American citizens. We’ve seen tear gas used in every major city over the course of the last week. In fact you may have been affected or known someone affected by it. I would also argue that the use of tear gas makes it more likely for riots to escalate. Please support this so we can make get rid of an inhumane tactic for protest controlling. There has to be a better way.
