us students should have protection for when we walk after school if that’s home, work, park, ect; but the school system wants to take that away and call it a weapon and suspend us for protecting ourselves. if the school can’t keep us safe the way we want then we should at least should have the chance to protect ourselves. there’s been over 2,000 abductions in the united states in 2020 and if there isn’t a a solution anytime soon those numbers will only get higher and higher. 

300 families and friends of people that have been kidnapped are still grieving a loss that they have fully discovered yet due to the fact they have no way to protect themselves. if we can’t have something to protect us at least teach us to protect ourselves not only from people on the street but in the building if a threat comes in. or take the items away before school starts and give it to us after because it’s not fair for us to walk down that street scared not knowing who’s gonna peak the corner and not having a way to protect us because the school said it’s against the rules to have pepper spay on us

help us out and show others as well as the schools that our lives matter and taking our protection away isn’t ok and we do not feel safe in this world!
