In light of recent delays in the delivery of primary election ballots to voters and the subsequent delays in their return, resulting in the invalidated and uncounted ballots of thousands, we demand the immediate formation of a special USPS oversight committee to ensure the successful and timely delivery and return of mail-in ballots.

Additionally, this petition calls for the postponement of the pending USPS “operational pivot”, which could create more delays in mail service, until after the 2020 Presidential Election.

Mail-in voting and absentee voting is the most secure way to vote, and has been successful in five states—Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, and Washington for as many as 25 years. Demand that our right and ability to have our votes counted is not compromised.
