I have seen more and more videos of cops Whom are beating people, intentionally harming people, even killing people. While onlookers are begging them to stop. They can’t intervene with out fear of being tased, pepper sprayed or shot. They fear they will be arrested as well. Cops are here to protect us, they are not above the law, they are here to up hold the law and to ensure civilians do as well. I think a new law should be in place for citizens to be able to protect others Whom are being wrongfully hurt or killed by our police... New training Procedures should be in place... Cops with any sort of violence Complaints should be taken seriously and they should be punished like any other citizen, not a hidden record and no punishment, that would have saved a life! I’m not doing this for anyone who feels the cops are wrong in arresting them, cops need to be able to do their jobs. We need to respect that. They need to be re taught to make sure they are following the law when arresting someone and not blatantly overlooking their rights as an American, the blatant violence against citizens all the while their back up (Other cops) are letting their partner do what ever they want and all people can do is stand back, watch and film the occurrence. That’s not right, that’s not how it should be. The police are not always in the right and they don’t always do what is best for the accused. This petition will help get it out there and if you agree then please sign! I’m looking out for everyone, because everyone deserves the same right of feeling safe and being able to protect themselves and others from harm especially against the police! Police the police! Feel safe again, we need to be able to protect our fellow Americans from harm even if it is the police!
