Reinstate Sha’Carri Richardson to FULLY approved Tokyo Olympics competition status
Sha’Carri Richardson has been barred from 2020 Tokyo Olympics competition in the 100m race. This is a gross injustice and an unfair determination that is based on a draconian and unethical US Olympics committee rule that disproportionately affects athletes of color. Furthermore, exacerbating the unfairness is that the ban is based on consumption of a substance that DOES NOT enhance sports performance. She is an athlete; the only rules that should be enforceable are ones that prevent unfair performance advantages and skewed (advantageous) competition results. This is not the case. Sha’Carri represents the people of the United States of America, and WE the people are demanding she represent US in EVERY event she qualified for, as she should, in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
