There are no skateparks in or around Madison, Georgia. By building a Skatepark many people will enjoy skating with friends. A skatepark will let people make more friends, have fun, decrease crime rates, and encourage more people into joining the skating community. A skatepark in Madison would make many people excited. There are many skaters in the community who wish there was a skatepark in the Madison community. There are no skateparks near Madison, this makes trips to skate very expensive. Its very inconvenient for skaters to have to drive over an hour just to skate. This skatepark would involve more people in this sport. A skatepark gives skaters a place to skate at. With a new skatepark, skaters would have a place to skate instead of skating street spots. A skatepark can be very costly, but Madison will not have to invest money into skate stoppers for this reason. Also the city of Madison will not have to pay for damages cause by skaters. A skatepark would be great for Madison for many reasons. Hopefully if this petition gets 1500 signs Madison might consider building this park. This means a lot to many people in Madison.
