United States Goverment & The People of America

Why this petition matters

We as the people of the united states need to raise the standard of living for the poor, by closing the gap between rich and poor. Not just raise the minimum wage and have all the prices go up after making it pointless. The most important thing is putting the government, corporations and super rich in check.(Top 10% not just the 1%) Then educate the people on how to spend money and own homes. (Not rent) On top of that we need to lower tax rates for the poor & lower middle class giving people an avenue to succeed.

With the ever growing population we need more & more educated people to support the society that's continuously being born at an exponential rate. Remember everything is relative, there will always be poor and rich but if we don't have an increasing supply of educated HAPPY hard working adults our society will suffer from it. I believe above anything that keeps us alive and society moving education is the most important investment. Kids are the kings of this world without them we have no future and without smart happy hard working adults we can't function.

I want to clarify what real education is. It's teaching the youth about the world around them and the history of it, then letting them decide their views and how to live their lives in true freedom. That means no politics, (Except for how the political system works and the history of it) It means no personal views on the world, no false information, no manipulation, no judgment or social/societal crucifixion, (Even for the most troubled kids that break the law, do drugs ect..) and finally an ever improving experimental education system different from the one that we have been using for the last 100+ years. One that has mandatory financial classes and at a certain point gives kids a chance to experiment with different career paths in the place they attend everyday, or maybe even classes outside of a building. (For example forest rangers don't sit in a building all day) All of these things play into our standard of living, our tax rates, our success, our happiness, our survival, our future and how much we let the government/corporations get away with they are supposed to serve US. Thank you

Please excuse my bad grammar or bad punctuation I didn't do well or learn much in school. (Failed every english class) This is what I've learned from living in the world for the past 7 years and being a home owner for the past 2. I left my home of a single mom at 18 jumped in the deep end and about drowned.
