The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) had proposed their upcoming competition schedules and pivotal events are missing from this selection.  This coupled with more difficult qualifications required for CCI events will make it difficult for riders to continue to ride at the upper levels of the sport. This is a multifactor issue, but mainly it will increase costs of travel and there are fewer events to use as qualifiers.

We need to push the USEF to reconsider and reinstate key events such as the Florida Horse Park to make this better for the competitors, spectators, and owners of this sport. The USEF needs to consider adding numerous more events back to the schedule.

Most importantly, the Florida Horse Parks CCI and Advanced. They have a tremendous facility and have built a wonderful Advanced having been asked repeatedly by riders, professionals and sponsors to do so.

By adding these events back not only are we preserving more upper level venues, we are keeping the sport more viable and vibrant moving forward.
