Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, many states are issuing mandatory closures of businesses leaving many families in a financial struggle. I believe the United States Department of Treasury in the collaboration with the Internal Revenue Service, the Treasury Offset Program and Bureau of Fiscal Service should refund any offsets they have taken for any governmental agency back to the taxpayer for this year's taxes due to the unforseen circumstances surrounding our country. Many citizen's will not be working, therefore have no income being generated for their household to cover expenditures and extra necessities which have now become important to combat the virus. 

The refund of these offsets to the taxpayer will assist in the financial struggles families are facing to make sure they are have a roof over their head and any out of pocket expenses that are created due to a possible positive coronavirus test and implementation of isolation/quarantine requests by our governmental agencies.
