There are many statues and memorials that glorify a past that was not good. What we would like to see is a new, national museum built and relocate these memorials and statues to it, and make it very clear that these were not good things and that America hasn’t always done the best things.

Hopefully this museum would be constructed in Washington D.C. so that everyone knows that America does know that it hasn’t always been perfect. The vast majority of people who want to leave the statues up want to do so to “preserve history” and this museum would do exactly that.
