Commute the sentence of my brother Glenn D. Gold

I am a sixty-four-year-old disabled veteran who has and continues to be one of your more ardent supporters. I understand the roadblocks you've encountered trying to effect change with a Congress stuck on gridlock, and won't pass go. You've tried to reform the sentencing of drug offenders, and I applaud you for it. However, I don't think I can wait for Congress to act, as I said earlier I'm already sixty-four.
I'm asking you to commute the life sentence of my sixty-three-year-old brother Glenn D. Gold who is in a federal penitentiary in GA. If I thought he was a threat to society in any way I would not be starting this petition. He has been imprisoned for over twenty-years on a non-violent drug offense. Punishment should always fit the crime and he has more than paid for his mistakes. He has serious medical problems and now it's time to temper justice with mercy.
I have a home waiting for him. It's time for him to come home and spend the rest of his life away from prison bars.
Please sign my petition asking President Barack Obama to commute my brother's sentence.
