Demand that they stop requesting personal bank records to determine your eligibility for public assistance. The pandemic has hurt a lot of us and we are still trying to get things back in order.  I was denied assistance and have to reapply even though nothing has changed besides my amount of bills and lowered income.  I like many others was laid off due to covid.  Had to take a work from home job that pays less.  I'm not making enough to cover rent and bills and now I can hardly buy food.  I don't have anyone putting food on the table for me and my two kids nor am I asking.  The assistance from snap really helped out a lot.  Without that help we will be begging for food.  We do not plan on staying on this assistance but for now we need the help.  While everyone is struggling. Requesting personal bank statements should not be required to determine if we get assistance or not.  Please help me stop this  nonsense.
