Make Every United States Citizen an Organ Donor Unless They Opt Out
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
120,000 men, women and children in the United States await lifesaving organ transplants.
Upon your death you can help up to 8 people live better, fuller lives.
According to the Donate Life website, 95% of Americans are in favor of being a donor but only 52% are registered.
That said, wouldn't it be better for it to be law that you are automatically a donor unless you choose to opt out?
Opt-out laws or presumed consent, are already one of the ways to increase amount of donors in these countries: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. France just this week was added to that list.
It's simple. If it were law, you are an organ donor, a HERO, unless you opt out.
Won't you join me and sign the petition? Raise awareness of the need for this to be a law in the United States?

In the meantime, until we are all in an presumed consent country, please sign your driver's license or go to donatelife.net and become an organ donor, become a HERO. Let your family know of your decision.
