Longer minimum treatment goal for needle users.

My sons insurance (state) would only cover 30 days inhouse treatment facility. He was a iv drug user and needed more time due to the severity of his addiction. He would have better off with at least 60- 90 days of treatment rather than 30 days. When your an i.v. user you require longer time in treatment, I feel. He would have stayed longer if it was an option. His state insurance would only cover 30 days. And then they made him return to Grays Harbor. Which I think was a horrible feature in his state insurance. He would have relocated to a different city if his insurance would have allowed him to. Instead he went into a clean and sober hope a block from where he used to use. It set him up for failure. My son relapsed after 63 days of being clean. I think he would have been better off out of grays harbor. But was informed he must return to grays harbor in order for his insurance to cover him. It's a crying shame. He is gone now because of it. 30 days isnt enough time in a treatment facility!!!
