Our elected leaders are ignoring the poor medical care provided to our communities by Tenet Healthcare hospitals. Tenet cares more about their finances than they do their patients. They focus treatment on what they can bill the most for, not what the patient actually needs or requests. 

They staff post-graduate students because it costs them less and students will not risk their first opportunities by asking questions or filing complaints when they see things that are unethical.

The fact that Los Alamitos Medical Center has far greater CDPH complaints and deficiencies than the state average, does not even justify the extent of the problem because so much is covered up. Sort their google and yelp reviews by date and see the hidden reviews. It's all there. These are the real people of these communities crying out for help against the disrespect for our human rights. LAMC abuses their power over those who need them.

The use of physical restraints on elderly and disabled patients MUST STOP. It is NOT the solution to avoid fall-risk liabilities. Patients are not prisoners. The disregard for patients' rights and laws of California are obvious. They will never change unless FORCED TO.
