Bring back Mental Heath facilities
This petition had 50 supporters
There are so many people roaming the streets in our communities, who suffer severely from mental health and behavioral disabilities, but they do not have anywhere to go to get the help that they so desperately need. Facilities that once gave them shelter and proper care are closed down due to lack of funding. Suicide and murder rates have been at an all time high since the closing of those facilities.
It has become unsafe to just ride the bus or train to work or even just walking down the street. Most people are afraid to encounter someone with mental health problems for fear that they may become violent for no reason.
There seems to be money for unnecessary things like wars and other unimportant things that don't help the American people. American citizens where is the compassion that we possess for our fellow Americans who need help? I'm asking that we stand together to help people with mental and behavioral disabilities get the care that they need.
A major way that we can help once we get them to reopen existing facilities and also opening multiple mental health facilities in each state, is by hiring people who actually care, not people that are just there for a paycheck. There are numerous people who have degrees in this field and they are out of work. Let's stand together to bring back these much needed facilities and workers.
Can I count on you to share this petition? I hope that you find it in your heart to help.
