Stop using digital bugles and other recorded music at our veterans funerals

I am a professional musician. I am a highland bagpiper and traditional bugler. I have a grandfather that served in the Air Force and earned the rank of Major. The military is a huge part of my family. I perform at funerals and military honors as part of my work as a professional bagpiper. I performed at a military funeral today and it was heartbreaking for me. The man that was honored today was a Navy veteran. The ceremony was good except when I heard the sound of the digital bugle, I just wanted to cry right then and there. How can they honor our veterans like this with recordings of Taps when there are live musicians ready and able to perform for our nation's veterans? America's veterans have given so much to our country, how can we stand by and let this happen. A digital bugle is a device that looks just like a bugle except someone just pushes a button and puts it to their lips and a very mechanical sound comes out. See the following article:
I performed as an honor guard bugler for two years in North Dakota and know how much honor and dignity live music brings to the veteran and his or her family.
Please sign this petition and tell the D.O.D that we want our veterans to have the honors they deserve with live music at their last honors.
I am featured in this article, honoring our nation's veterans used to be my job, and now every one of us buglers are quickly being replaced by machines!
