Save the World from its Current State, Start by Changing what's on your Plate!

We get it. You can’t afford a Tesla, it’s not practical do walk or bike everywhere you go, and carpooling is inconvenient. The good news is that there is a better way to help the environment. Studies have shown that reducing your consumption of animal products—meat and dairy— is the easiest and most practical way for you to help the environment. Quarter pound burger is equivalent, in CO2 emissions, to driving nearly five miles. By simply changing to a more plant-based diet, or even a no-red-meat diet, you could dramatically change your carbon footprint. However, the benefits are more than just lowered CO2 emissions, but changing your eating habits will also save water, help endangered species, decrease eutrophication, and fight world hunger. Our goal is to raise awareness for the sustainability of plant based diets and the positive global effects from this practice in the present and in the future.
