In Region III, Nueva Ecija is known for being the Rice Capital, there is a lot of paddy fields in this province which they market in different places to have their profit. In the previous years, the income they get was increasing, but sometimes it was decreasing, and they are no longer to have their finances to sustain the necessities in life like foods, hygiene kit, money and so on.

Those farmers who are struggling to make grains of wheat just to provide us our daily meal, they still continue to harvest despite the exhaustion. This kind of work is indeed tiring, yet the benefits they get are not enough to pay their bills and taxes, not enough to feed their own families. In terms of healthcare, they do not have that the monthly check-ups to maintain their healthy lifestyle; the price range of rice fields of sacks is low, people abuse them by not letting them claim their rights. Nevertheless, farmers still continued to do their jobs even though they are not being treated and paid right. They deserve better.

With this petition, we can help the farmers get their rights as labourers. Eventually, if we get to resolve this issue, they will get high income, the money we will earn here will be divided, and given to them to use it for their families' needs such as foods, medicine, and hygiene kits. The excess money will be used to buy materials and equipment they can use for farming. There is a lot to do if their income will increase (as the government should because being a farmer is never easy), they will have enough money to save for the future.
