Here in America, we pledge allegiance to the United States of America, not to an individual or his political organization.
There is no mention of an allegiance to Grover Norquist and his political organization in the Constitution.
In no way does Grover Norquist, or his political organization, represent the will of the people of the United States. The 2012 election represents the will of the people and the mandate is clear: America supports President Obama’s policies and we want Congress to work together with the President rather than obstructing progress and dabbling in the political folly of Grover Norquist and his political organization.
The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the Republican majority’s inability to stand in allegiance with the people of United States of America. The residents of the United States suffer from blatant abuses of their rights by not having true representation by their elected officials. Given that the Representatives in Congress are duly mandated by the United States Constitution to represent the people and that our government is governed by people and for the people, and nowhere does it mention bowing to Grover Norquist and his political organization, it is practically feasible for the Congressional Republicans to withdraw from their tax pledge to Mr. Norquist, and to do so would protect citizens from tyranny and re-secure their rights to a representative government.
Grant US Congress authority to Withdraw from Grover Norquist's tax pledge
