Tell Congress to Abolish Slavery by Reforming the 13th Amendment

While it is commonly understood that the 13th Amendment of the US Constitution abolished slavery, the American people, and the world, have been duped due to their being an exception based on being "duly convicted of a crime." Whether that is a felonr or misdemeanor is of no consequence because slavery is slavery and as an institution it is dehumanizing, abhorrent, inhumane, and a long-standing practice the United States should abolish completely and unequivocally. Please stand with me and all "returning citizens." The USA condemns and calls out other countries for practicing slavery and it looks hypocritical when it still practices it itself whether it be under guise of criminality or not. Please sign and share this with everyone around the world and lets advocate for this subtle form of slavery to finally be stopped through the reformation of the 13th Amendment. While that Amendment freed Black Americans from one form of bondage, it allowed for a different form to be imposed on them all people in the USA. We effectively live in a society where slavery exists by another name and we can put an end to this if we have the will, organization, and desire to do so. Please call, write, and email your representatives to let them know that you want this Amendment reformed. Thank you for reading this.
