A Message on World Cancer Day
Feb 4, 2015 — Hello! As you may know, today (Feb. 4) is World Cancer Day. I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for your support of my petition. More than 41,000 people have joined the fight to lower the screening age for colorectal cancer! We have the support of many cancer-fighting organizations, who are excited to harness this power to push for the changes we seek.
Next month is Colon Cancer Awareness Month, so we want to keep this momentum going into March. I wanted to share with you a recent U.S. News & World Report article that provides new research that shows colon cancer incidence is increasing among young and middle aged adults. After you check it out, be sure to share the petition with your friends! Our fight is so important -- saving just one life with this change would mean everything in the world to me. Thanks again for continued your support!
Keep fighting for people power!
