Black Women's History Month

Black women in the United States have been a undeniable force despite ongoing systemic and social subjugation. They've contributed greatly to our society in the forms of art, science, technology, politics, humanity, and more. While there is Black History Month in February, and Women's History Month in March, one small action of appreciate should be to celebrate black women specifically. This petition proposes that since black women live their lives at the intersection of race and gender, Black Women's History month should span over both Black History Month and Women's History Month during the dates of February 14th through March 14th. If everyone lauding Black Women as of late could support this petition, we can make this holiday month possible.
