The current Corona Virus outbreak in the USA has adversely affected the Job search of many International students who have graduated in December 2019 or will be graduating in May 2020. F-1 regulations state that students who have been authorized for post-completion OPT must leave the U.S. before they accrue an aggregate of more than 90 days of unemployment. Since the local economy has stalled significantly and is expected to completely stall in the next few days, we request the students impacted by this event to participate in this petition to get the attention of the Federal Government and USCIS. 

With this Petition, we are requesting the USCIS authorities to relax the 90 days unemployment limit for F-1 visa students for a few days to allow the students seeking employment and the recruiters to reconvene normal business operations once the impact of the unfortunate Corona Virus outbreak is mitigated.
