Keep Mr. Todd Surloff in the United School District!

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

I am asking for your support in saving our Gifted Support Instructor, Jr. High Guidance Counselor and Career Education Teacher. At the end of the school year, the district made the decision, without warning, to furlough the position held by Mr. Surloff.

Mr. Surloff is wonderful teacher. He pushes his students to challenge the deepest parts of their minds and encourages their unique ways of learning. With his guidance, two of our teams placed (1st and 2nd) at the Indiana and Armstrong County S.T.E.M design challenge, with the 7th and 8th grade team earning the right to travel to Harrisburg to compete.

Mr. Surloff also wears many hats. In addition to being the Gifted Support Instructor, he is also the Jr. High Guidance Counselor and Career Education Teacher. In his absence, the current Guidance Counselor will be required to support over 500 students. With the problems affecting teenagers today, this seems like a daunting task for one person.

Mr. Surloff is a valuable asset to our community. Please help us to save his position and keep him in the district. “Once a Lion, always a Lion.”
