More than half of our country currently pays the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. 29 states have not raised their minimum wage in more than 10 years. While the price of gas, housing, living expense, food, education and child expenses have consistently raised over the past decade yet Americans are still receiving the same low outdated wages. We need to make a change and enforce laws to protect us from being overlooked and uncared for by our own Congress.
