Affton School District has a very thorough 'Code of Conduct'  listing the consequences of how the district will handle over 30 different negative behaviors and acts. In the last several years, from a parental perspective, certain acts have become more prevalent. We as parents are choosing to rise up to back the Affton Schools as a District, the administration, and the School Board know they have our full support to carry out these disciplines.  

United Parents of Affton against Violence & Bullying believe ALL children should feel safe to attend school without fear of violence or bullying.  We parents feel we should also feel safe to volunteer and support the schools without fear of violence or bullying. 

Students and parents should feel safe and accepted regardless of who we are, what we look like and what we believe personally, etc.  We, parents, encourage schools to begin additional positive programs which discourage bullying and there are several suggestions here: 13 Simple Anti-Bullying Programs to consider. In summary, as an Affton Parent, whether or not your child goes to AECC, Mesnier, Gotsch, Rogers, or the High School; we are calling ALL parents to unite together as a collective whole, regardless of personal affiliations and opinions, and Unite Against Violence and Bullying.
