I would like to please ask you for your help in bringing awareness about UPS' lack of protection of their employees' safety, hazardous pay and absence of care to avoid additional COVID-19 spread to our community. We are grateful and aware that UPS is an essential line of business as the employees assist with the shipping and delivering of essential products for our neighbors. UPS should put more effort and financial support in taking care of their own. Please keep in mind COVID-19 has been affecting the United States for at least a month. My husband is a package handler for UPS in Doral (Miami),Florida which has surpassed 1200+ cases countywide and 7,000 cases statewide. The truck he has to drive everyday to handle and deliver 1000+ packages to customers, have not been completely sanitized on a daily basis .

UPS employees are being exposed to a deadly virus daily for 8-10 hour shifts on their driver routes as well the employees inside their buildings/hubs handling the sorting/loading areas. Please be aware COVID-19 can be spread easily with so much handling and interaction with the customers. My husband, just today, was able to obtain one N-95 respiratory mask from a kind customer that couldn't believe he was not wearing protective gear. What will it take?!  The spreading to all UPS employees in a warehouse therefore needing a shut down to clear virus and leaving employees lost and sick?! Please help us! Maybe UPS Corporation will hear our community since they do not listen to their UPS brothers and sisters!
