Avesta Naseer started this petition to United Nations and

A sincere and serious plea for the United Nations and Council of European Union!

Let’s break the deafening international silence!

The occupation of Afghanistan by the Taliban, a very dangerous, barbarian, savage, reactionary, and terrorist group has marked the advent of a new dark age in the 21st century. They force the girls under the age of consent as young as eight years to marry their soldiers. They are the enemy of art and life in the right senses. So they kill musicians, dancers, comedians, and journalists.

Amidst this huge disaster that has afflicted humanity and mankind and has challenged all the conscious people on the earth, there is only a chance toward salvation. Let’s not afford to lose it. The only resistance against the Taliban who have announced clearly that they uphold democratic and human values is the Panjshir Valley resistance of Ahmad Masoud and his few faithful allies.

Unfortunately, none of you and the individual member states support them while some of you are already negotiating with the terrorist group of Taliban.

The war in Panjshir Valley MUST be stopped, urgently. The people of Panjshir Valley and the Resistance forces need urgent support of people who believe in human rights and democratic values and those who do not tolerate cruelty and barbarianism.

It would be a big shame for all of you to keep silent and not intervene while the Taliban are committing genocide in Panjshir.

Therefore, we the undersigned solemnly request the UN and Council of European Union to:

- Intervene immediately and mediate an urgent ceasefire

- Internationally recognize the Taliban's brutality and Pakistan's support of them as serious war crimes

- Urgently send food and human rights support to the people of Panjshir who are being bombed by minute and have lost everything they had.

With Regards,
