Being an ex-Muslim from Pakistan who lives abroad now, I personally know the struggle and fear of not being able to express my opinions on the barbaric religious practices & laws of the country. I understand the fear of being persecuted & hunted for having critical opinions.
In recent times we've seen a crackdown against ex-Muslims from around the world on social media, by not only Islamic extremists and moderates, but by many Islamic countries as well, this includes countries like Pakistan, Iran & Saudi Arabia which are members of the United Nations and are not only endorsing the death of apostates and blasphemers but also demanding other free countries give into these barbaric laws to silence dissent & criticism of a clearly anti-human rights ideology.
I want to petition the United Nations to take a stand for freedom of speech and Human rights, for ex-Muslims from all around the world and pressurize countries to abolish blasphemy and apostasy laws.
