Mohammed Asif Ansari started this petition to United Nations and

Human rights violations are on the rise in India by the current government based on religious belief.

Mob lynchings, Provocative speeches by BJP leaders to instigate Hindus to kill Muslims, Replacement of judges and police officials trying to act against perpetrators of such crimes are some of the examples that are widespread now.

The Prime Minister of India, Mr. Modi follows these perpetrators of human rights violations on Facebook and other social media. These perpetrators walk free and are publicly rewarded for their actions by the current administration.

The recent amendment to Citizenship Act leaves out Muslims and the government clearly has a plan to use it to take away citizenship of Muslims in India. Even after widespread protests throughout the country, no government representatives have addressed the protesters concerns.

We don’t foresee any justice by the current government as they are the one fueling these actions.

We request United Nations Human Rights Council to look in to this matter and help put pressure the current Indian government from perpetrating human rights violations in the current form or using the citizenship amendment act in the future.

Citizens of India.
Thank you.
