Stop separating families with inhuman immigration policies.

In the United States there are harrowing stories emerging of parents seeking asylum being separated from their children with no knowing how or whether they will be reunited. There have been reports of mothers, like Elsa Ortiz being actually deported without their children, leaving them alone in a strange country. There have been reports of warehouses full of these children, stolen by the state.

In the UK where I live there have also been families torn apart by deportation, often after applying for British citizenship. Women like Irene Clennell who has now been thankfully reunited with her family, but how many have we not heard about who have been ripped from their children and homes?

The UN and international community needs to stand together to stop these immoral and inhuman deportations and the splitting of innocent families.
