Laith Hamed started this petition to United Nations and

Since the 1st of October, the Iraqi people have started peaceful protest demanding change. The Iraqi government has been using excessive power including live ammunition to kill the protesters.

Three hundred people have now died and Iraqi Militias are threatening to kill all protesters. These protesters are civilians that has no weapons not even a stick to defend them selves with.

The Iraqi people have waited 16 years for a change and every government that has been in power has only promised them but never delivered.

Since 2003, there has never been any change to the Infrastructure in Iraq and the status of all departments has deteriorated to unacceptable levels thus why people have had enough and been protesting since the 1st of October.

I am demanding from the UN to set restrictions on the government as its running against the will of the people. I am also demanding that the UN send's a delegation to monitor the Civilian protesters because people are getting brutally murdered every day.

I believe in Democracy in such of one that we have in the United Kingdom and i believe that the United Nations can change people's life and i ask that you do what ever you can to stop the Killings in Iraq.
