When even one human life is lost, not to mention the life of a child under the care of personnel in the modern day concentration camps set up for the refugees by the United States government, that is one life too many. Seven children have died in ICE custody this year. The children continue to be kept in inhumane conditions and many such as 16 year old Carlos Vasquez who lay in agony on a concrete floor suffering from the flu receive little or no medical attention. Unfortunately Carlos succumbed from his illness next to a toilet and lay there for hours before being discovered. Is this what America is about? Have we as a society become so hardened that we no longer have regard for human life? As a Native American, my Ancestors had their land stolen by European conquerors many of whose descendants hold office today  and make the rules that we're forced to adhere to. The treatment of the Indigenous asylum seekers is not only disgusting but inhumane, immoral and most likely illegal. It's time for people to unite and say, "No More, Close The Camps, Unite The Families and most importantly Stop The Wall."
