Let the Syrian Children play without Worrying
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
The war in Syria started in 2011 which is now approximately on going for the past 5years.
UNICEF has reported that over 500 children had been killed by early February 2012. Another 400 children were reportedly arrested and tortured in Syrian prisons. Although Both claims have been contested by the Syrian government.
An estimated 400,000 Syrians have been killed, according to the United Nations.
As of March 2017, more than 5 million Syrians have fled the country and 6.3 million people are displaced internally.
I am not a Syrian, I do not live in Europe but the war in Syria has affected me because it has affected humanity! It has devastated a country that once harbored families, laughter of children. Women and children have been forced to live their home, their continent and become refugees. Let’s collectively raise our voices as humans and condemn the war in Syria.
I would want all the Syrian children to see the sun shine above their head again in their homeland.
Let them dance again and play around without worrying about being hit by a bullet or rocket.
