China has long history of human rights violations particularly in Tibet.Recent a report by human Rights watch in July detailed how Chinese authorities raided a monastery and village in western Tibet and arrested monks because of evidence “found on a lost cell phone containing images of the Dalai Lama. Secret trials led to lengthy prison sentences for four monks…police reportedly arrested more than 20 Tibetans for celebrating the Dalai Lama’s 86th birthday on July 6.  China has destroyed or damaged 99%of Tibet’s Monasteries..Not only that-the Chinese communist party claims it has the sole right to identify the next Dalai Lama ,overruling the traditional religious leadership of the Tibetan Buddhist community.Almost 25 years ago,the 11th Panchen Lama,Gudhun Choekyi Nyima,was forcibly disappeared by the Chinese government at the age of six and has never been seen since.Previous Panchen Lama have been great religious scholars and leaders for the Tibetan people,and they have traditionally played a role in identifying future Dalai Lamas.But in severe violation of religious freedom,Chinese authorities put their own imposter Panchen Lama in place as part of their continuing efforts to control Tibet and undermine Tibetan Buddhism.these tactics mean that freedom of religious in Tibet is virtually nonexistent,and that the very survival of Tibet’s unique cultural and heritage is at stake….
