It doesn't matter what we wear or how we look like. What matter is what we do, what we want to say and in what we believe. It's what Wonder Woman telling us.

I'm signing because this is cause that I believe in. Despite what 'Feminists' say Wonder Woman is a strong, smart, and independent woman who just happens to be sexy. Let's make history as a generation to pull our heads out of our a**es and remember what Wonder Woman did for us. Thank You

The enormous impact of the Wonder Woman movie has only reinforced the dimwitted mistake the UN made by dropping her as an honorary ambassador—one that children, especially girls, worldwide already embrace as a beloved character. The stereotypical objection misrepresented who she is. Scantily clad? What, like an athlete? "Big breasted?" Perhaps by a few (contemporary) comic artists but for the most part that is NOT her character design (witness the bulk of the 75 years of the character's existence). In the United States, she was worthy enough to adorn a postage stamp set commemorating her anniversary. Before the UN crumbles before every uninformed criticism, how about asking comic fans, especially children, what they think. Better still, watch the movie (maybe you'll "get it" then).

I am a woman , a mother, a daughter, a boss, and individual, and honor the symbolic strength that Wonder woman provides all women, as we should all be honored for our contributions to the world and not fear being able to show our strength, as we are equals among all men.

Wonder Woman stands for something higher than entertainment. She is the voice of many women suffering everyday of the abuse of men and other women! She is a symbol of hope, freedom and equality! If she is was considered once, why would she be removed? Love, compassion and justice are more than a suit with stars! Please sign this petition to make a change and portray motivation for our world!

Many people say that Wonder Woman is "scantily dressed". But I find it difficult to believe that the United Nations, which is basically supposed to listen to everyone's opinions and then take decisions after careful deliberation, gave in to the words of petty conservative haters. Clearly, it looks like UN is trying to tell the world that you're gonna be given importance and be considered a role model officially if, and only if, you are all covered up and conservative like a woman from the Victorian era.

Moreover, Wonder Woman is an Amazon. In Greek mythology, they are the fiercest race of warriors, better than any man. In fact, their first queen, Otrera, was so skilled in battle that she attracted the attention of the god of war, Ares. She had two daughters with him, Hippolyta and Penthesilea. Ever since, Amazons have been considered honorary daughters of Ares. They are a personification of strength and courage.

If a woman belonging to this tribe cannot be a symbol for the empowerment of women and girls, I can't imagine who can.

Wonder Woman has ALWAYS been a symbol of Feminism and to strip her of her UN role, so recently appointed, felt like a slap in the face to all who find inspiration in her. Please look beyond the limited interpretation of her physical appearance and recognize who she really is, and what she really stands for.
