Justice for Joel Shindani Malu and friends

He was a young friendly man, bright and talented. He is gone too soon, in a case of custodial death. Joel Shindani Malu was an African student from Congo studying in India who was arrested in an unproven case of drugs. The Bengaluru Police went on to arrest him and take him to the Police cells in the middle of the night. He was well and healthy only for him to pass away under a sketchy scenario early in the morning.

When other students and friends went forward to ask for answers to his death the police responded by beating them up in excessive brutality which left many students with serious injuries. The African students in India have been affected emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
