Abimbola Amusan started this petition to United Nations and

Over the years , Nigerians living in the South Africa have constantly lived in the fear violent xenophobic attacks by South African indigenes; and this fear has played out over and over, leading to the loss of several precious lives and the loss of properties worth millions.

The Nigerian government has again failed, as always, to protect her people living in South Africa against these attacks, as there has been no affirmative actions, producing results, taken to end this show of shame.

This is a call on all compassionate persons (Nigerians and Non-Nigerians) to sign this petition to call on the international community, human right bodies , international governments, unions and institutions that can save Nigerians from the hands of these heartless individuals.

The Federal Government of Nigeria should also take affirmative actions, with immediate effect, in an attempt to end this Show of shame. The South African embassy in Nigeria should be closed, something significant should be done to show that lives of Nigerians matter.

Thank you for being the change that the world needs to be a better place.

Thank you
