Decreasing native plant diversity can lead to an increase in diseases as well as creating a feedback loop that can result in even more damage to an ecosystem. Although, groups such as the Plant Conservation Alliance have been working diligently to aid native species, government action towards the enviromental issues has been slow and ineffective. Through this petition, we hope to spread information as well create a large enough impact to influence nations.
